Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. nondairy powdered soy, rice or coconut milk
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. gluten free vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Directions

1. Whisk powdered nondairy milk with sugar; place in saucepan.
2. Whisk in hot water & salt over medium heat.
3. Bring to a boil and let boil until sugar dissolves and mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
4. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and let cool.
5. Use as you would use canned sweetened condensed milk. (Keeps for a few days in the refrigerator).
