gluten free garlic cream pasta
Ingredients
- 1 package gluten free noodles (I used Tinkyada)
- 3 Tbs. butter or non-dairy butter
- 1/4 c. superfine brown rice flour
- 1 1/2 c. chicken or vegetable stock
- 1 1/2 c. 2% milk or non dairy milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 c. parmesan cheese or nondairy parmesan-style cheese (such as Daiya)
- Fresh ground pepper to taste
Note
This recipe can easily be made vegetarian or vegan; can be a side dish or a main dish. The photo above shows a version I made with gluten free sausage and frozen peas.
Directions

| Melt butter in sauce pan & saute garlic until it starts to brown. |

| Whisk in rice flour & let bubble for about a minute. |
3.

| Pour in stock and milk; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Sauce will thicken. |
4.

| Cook pasta & drain, mix with sauce. |
5.
|
| Optional add-ins: diced chicken, gluten free sausage, frozen veggies. |
